Newest stuff at the Start

22-04-02 Its so goof to have finished exams finally.

Well I finished my exams on Saturday, with a kick-ass EOSC exam, where a mark of 90% would be plausible (very easy stuff). Anyway it goes with out saying that Saturday night I got totally pissed. I started drinking after the exam at 4:30 wile chilling and watching Simpsons (so good to chill like that after the intensity of exams) Later on Me, Matt, Lia, Carly, Brianna, Ashley and Swede went out to White spot for food. Then came back and carried on drinking then out to Keorners for some more drink, before finishing of the night with a game of pool in the very empty Pit. Yesterday I woke up with a sufficiently big hang over, and did fuck all, watched shows and stuff. 24 is really loosing it now, around episode 16 some of the plots went crazy, and now certain bits are just stupid. We also watched an episode of Maguiver (or how ever you spell it, Richard Dean Anderson) and after looking at the back ground, noticed that it was filmed here at UBC. There always filming stuff here, but this is the first time I have seen it in a show or film.

Today is going to be quite a bit of effort, not only does washing need to be done, but I need to acquire tickets for the bus, and also start packing. So no drinking till a bit later on, but then I will be drunk by 6 again I hope.

17-04-02 Die, David Tillman, Die.

Well there goes another exam thats it for Geography in my second year now. Only 2 exams left, then gonna get super wasted. Despite my impending Geography exam last night I watched Episode 1 : The Phantom Menace. That really isnt a good film, I cant believe Lucas released it, it pails in comparison to all the other Star Wars movies.

Anyway today has gone ok, considering a 4 hour exam, that started 8:30 has been the major constituent of it so far. I guess its on to Bio revision now, Dam you David Tillman, with your dam smart arse resource ratios. And as for bloody British Tree holes, I wanna fill them all with concrete.

Ps, the title is of course, German.

14-04-02      30 : 15 Dan to revise

Well 2 exams gone, yesterdays EOSC/BIO exam was a bloody battle, I think I just about came away, but it was more a draw than a victory. That means only 3 more left now, Wednesday (another stupid 8:30 one), Thursday and Saturday. Revision sucks. Last nigh I went out to the Blarney stone with, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Matt, Matt, Andy, Marj and Dave. Nothing that eventful happened, and Matt really, really cant dance which was funny. This morning I woke up at 9 after a good 5 hours sleep (thats the 3rd day I have had less than 5 hours sleep in a row, trouble is brewing), watched some Seinfelt, and then ate. At the moment I have so much energy and I dont have a clue where it has come from, also no hang over is curious, meaning either all my beer has been changed into energy not fat and Im Hyper or that Im still drunk, who knows? Anyway plenty of revision to be doing today, but I cant see much happening really, more tempting is Matts offer of the Simpsons. Screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders.

12-04-02 Dan One - Exams Nil

I had my first exam today, at 8:30, which meant I was still asleep for the first 30mins, despite getting up at 7:15 for it. I think It went pretty well though, I was dreading this exam, cos I hate the course, crappy lecturers. On the exam I managed to use more knowledge from Bio and my other geography courses than what I had learnt for this one. Hopefully in the right places though.

Well another 4 to go, starting tomorrow in 23 hours, so time to do more work now.

10-04-02

The last 2 days I have done much, swam over 1 Km each day, yesterday in the out door pool, literally quite cool. Other than that done lots of revision, and watched a few shows.

07-04-02 Work & Work

Well we finally got that other hour, and thanks to stupid daylight savings lost an hour of sleep. This meant that my sleep in until 10:45 was really to 11:45 and so I wasnt actually up properly until past mid-day. Anyway I have done quite a bit of Bio revision today so I guess its all good.

Yesterday I found out more stuff that happened on Friday night, at Arts County, and now only seam to have a half hour gap in the time line which is a lot better than the 4 hour gap I had earlier on Saturday. Then did work, and stuff, and finally watched Train Spotting.

This evening I watched the new Simpsons which was pretty good, then the 7-to-last X-Files episode,  which I have to say is the worst one ever, and I dont know if I can be bother to watch the other 6 now. Fox has really lost it, the Simpsons has crazier and crazier plots all the time (this one about home smoking weed) and that X-files was literally a waste of time.

Anyway gonna have a couple of drinks and watch a film now, hopefully drinking enough so I can sleep at a reasonable time, and not get further buggered up by day light savings.

06-04-02 Needing food.

Wow, what the hell happened last night?? Yesterday was the last day of classes for the year. This meant that we all got wasted then went to arts country fair. After consuming 5 beers in 45 mins after eating and all my classes (which luckily finished at noon) we went to Arts County at about 2. Arts County is the big, exrav type thing that goes on here at UBC. Tea Party were headlining, with lots more bands that I havent heard of, but the Canadians seamed to know, on before. Anyway the queues to get in were awful, but I managed to meet a few new people in them, not got a clue who there are though, or where they went, so maybe not meet, maybe more of talk too. Once in we lined up for beer tickets, then finally for Beer. I think I had about 6 Beers in their, but some how got super-wasted. After wandering about and meeting various people, it went dark, and Tea Party came on, Swede, Me and Ashley got quite near the front, and Swede and me went crowed surfing, though it never lasted that long.

Like I said I really dont remember much, but it was brilliant and I was super-ultra-wankered. After it finished at 9, we came back for Pizza, then I fell asleep at about half 10. After sleeping successfully for about 4 hours, I woke up, and after working one where and who I was, decided to watch Goldeneye, and lie in bed. So did that and got back to sleep around 6, for another 4 hours.

Today is most concerned with revision now, after getting some food together. Then possibly trying to work out other things that happened over a few more drinks.

It feels so good to be done classes now, and only have Exams left, but Im very worried about the dissertation, or lack there off.

4-4-02 (yer it was the 4th)

Second to last day of class. I have now finished all my Bio 302 and Geography BC classes, forever, so good. After that I actually went to an extra lecture by one David Susuki, opinionated guy he is. He seamed to have the right ideas about the environment, but didnt really respect any other opinions. For those of you who have never heard of him (like me, before last week) he is quite a big Ecologist and Environ-Mentalist, he has TV shows and stuff.

Yesterday night we went roller blading, round Stanley Park which was cool. I went with Matt, Swede, Boulton, Carly, Ashley, Zara and Brianna, which was a big enough group. My blading skills have deteriorated though over the past few years, mainly due to the lack of effort, and ever-increasing amount of beer.

Anyway later on today, planning on getting drunk, finishing of my assignment and going swimming though not sure which order in. At the moment it looks like Drink Tea assignment Swimming though. Tomorrow is the last day of classes and I should be getting totally wasted, today I lent Max my Whistler pass, and he is gonna pay me back in Weed tomorrow, this coupled with the vast supply of Beer, should make in an interesting day.

3-4-2 A sunny Vancouver Afternoon.

For some reason its really really go weather today, like T-shirt weather. So we have decided to go roller-blading later on round the sea wall.

Dinner was alright, but paying money for food, just to be spoken to in French isnt too good. I think Im totally giving up eating out now, its totally not worth it, I could have got a CD with what I spend last night, even though the meal was subsidised, I just dont care that much about food. Except for sushi.

Last night my dick head of a neighbour kept me up until 2:30. Normally this wouldnt have proved a problem, and in fact I would be up then anyway, but because he insists on playing loud music when he gets up at 7:45am, its crap. Subsequently I get bugger all sleep, because UBC, under the liberal government, believes anyone can go to Uni, even if there stupid (I have Human Kinetics). So after lying awake until about 3:30 thinking of elaborate ways to either kill or severally debilitate him, I managed a grand total of 4 and half hours sleep. He will die!

02-04-02 No Skiing - But Lots of Beer

Hurmm, Well Skiing didn't happen today, Classes were ok, and we managed to get Tyler to drive to the liquor store, and got 30 bottles each, for me and Matt. Tonight we finally going on the 'Brainopoly' dinner, that we won way back in the first term. Should be pretty good.

Yesterday I managed to get quite a lot of work done, no, however the work that is immanent, rather some revision and other stuff that I don't really need to do for a couple of weeks. After deciding not to go into town, because of the 6am get up for skiing, we decided to watch some Enterprise. For some reason the writers of Enterprise decide to do MTV does Star Trek, and manage to make the worst episodes that I have seen for a wile. Anyway at 11:30 I heard from Carly, that Swede, who was picking up our rental car, had had a bit of an accident. In fact he had managed 5mins from the rental centre, before jumping a red light and getting the front of the car knocked of by an articulated truck (or 'Semi'). So after wrecking the car, it was decided not to bother with Skiing. Swede and Boulton, who was also in the car are both fine, so it wasnt that bad in the end.
